Welcome to our web site. Carillon has been running for 12 years now, has developed from a simple thin stapled booklet to an 88+ page paperback book without the cost increasing too much. However, the 2012 postage hike has done serious damage in respect of delivery costs. For non-UK customers, these are now double and even treble the print and production costs, so a major part of subscription monies go to the Post Office. I hope to create an electronic version to counterbalance that one day.
Things have been a touch quiet for the magazine over the last few months, which has been rather useful, particularly in helping me reduce the time lag between acceptance and publication - which was far too long this time last year. There’s still more work to be done on that front but it is looking better.
Plans for 2014 include a slightly revamped “Readers’ Bookmark” competition and, hopefully, an anthology (and, I hope a modest publication of my own).
