GENERAL RULES AND GUIDELINES
No entry form required
1. No names on entries -
enclose a cover sheet containing your name, address and other contact details.
2. Use a reasonably-sized (12 -14 point) plain font and do not illustrate your entry
No need to double space.
3. Entry fees must accompany entry
4. No “bad” or discriminatory language.
5. If you’d like personal notification of the results, please enclose a stamped,
addressed envelope marked “results”
6. ENSURE that you pay sufficient postage: It doesn’t please me when I have to go
to the post office to collect an envelope and pay a £1.00 handling fee plus the
shortfall in postage.
7. Do not cram entries into tiny envelopes. However, one or two folds in entries is
acceptable and can save a few pence in postage.
8. Entries will not be returned, so don’t send your only copy.
9. Judging will be by the editor and independent friends. Our decision will be final.
10. Winning entries will be published in an extended issue 22 (Sept/Oct 2008).

Overseas writers may use e-mail, providing simultaneous payment is made through Paypal
